"First, thanks for taking the time to visit our site! I want to tell you about myself and my love for animals; why I love dog walking and spending my day with animals.
I grew up with a tremendous love for animals. I was allowed to have a cat when I was younger, and that cat was my friend. We were inseparable. Fluffy (yes, it really was named Fluffy) loved me so much that she graciously put up with being dressed up in doll clothes. ( I think she actually loved it… all that attention)
As I got older (12) a Pomeranian/spaniel mix joined the family. Daisy and I spent many long hours playing every day. I trained and cared for her with responsibility well beyond my years.
This love for animals guided me to being a vet tech when I completed high school. I loved helping animals and being part of that world.
Fast forward a few years when I married Mark.
Shortly after we moved to Kirkland, our next door neighbor moved from her home, leaving behind 27 cats to fend for themselves. Mark and I humanly trapped all 27 and found homes for each of them. One is one of my sweetest cats Ziggy. I always help out when I can and rescue a lost or stray pet that needs my help.
This brings me to my career as a dog walker. I love the energy dogs have and their wonderful personalities. When I come to a house and take a “client” to the park for an adventure, they are so happy to see me that it is infectious and it spreads from me to others.
It’s a win win situation!"
